Cryptogram puzzles
Pick a level and play as many as you like.
The three levels
- Easy: shorter quotes, and three letters are filled in for you.
- Medium: quotes of every length, with one letter given.
- Hard: longer quotes, no letters given and no punctuation, so apostrophes and commas will not help you.
How to play
- Each letter in the quote has been swapped for a different letter. Every A in the code is the same real letter, every B is another, and so on.
- Tap a letter in the puzzle, then tap the real letter on the keyboard below (or type it). It fills in everywhere that code letter appears.
- Hint reveals one letter. Check marks wrong letters in red. Use Erase or Backspace to remove a letter.
- No letter ever stands for itself. Start with short words: a one-letter word is almost always A or I.
